Amy Robach
Amy Robach is an American television journalist, podcaster and author of The New York Times bestseller “Better: How I Let Go of Control, Held on to Hope, and Found Joy in My Darkest Hour.”News veteran Amy Robach cohosts the iHeart podcast “Amy & T.J.” with her partner, T.J. Holmes. They also host the daily news show “Morning Run”to keep listeners informed and entertained as they start their day. As executive producers of the podcast, Amy and T.J. have had headline-making conversations with newsmakers and celebrities, discussing the latest hot topics ranging from politics to relationships.
Robach was previously the news anchor of “Good Morning America” and co-host of “GMA3: What You Need to Know” and co-host of ABC’s “20/20.” Before joining ABC News, Robach worked at NBC News as the co-anchor of “Saturday TODAY” and an NBC News National Correspondent. Prior to that, Robach was an anchor for MSNBC from 2003-2007. She began her career as a crime reporter in Charleston, South Carolina, and then became the morning and noon anchor for WTTG in Washington, DC.
In 2015, Robach released her bestselling book that details her battle with breast cancer following her diagnosis from an on-air mammogram on “Good Morning America.”Robach is originally from Lansing, Michigan. She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, just before high school. Robach attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated with honors in broadcast journalism. She currently resides in New York City.
